Nestled in the quaint residential park, the proposal of the health and daycare center is a manifestation of the study between generational ties of the elderly community and volunteer parties in Rawang- where the building layout is simplistically laid out to cater for health-based programs and the other half to create elderly-centric spaces. The project proposes various void and solid compositions depending on the usage of the space, guided with the honesty of local materials to invoke a sense of familiarity in its users. Passive cooling techniques are encouraged through its porous facade arrangements, and the inclusion of flora as an accompanying element lends a soft edge to the otherwise modern architecture theme.
